Traditional farmhouse
The mas (farmhouse) was built by our family in the first part of the nineteenth century. The building was firstly used for silkworm breeding (magnanerie) and then as accommodation for seasonal workers. It presents all of the characteristics of local traditional architecture: simple spaces, stone walls and brick frames.

Contemporary architecture
To renovate our building we chose to work with the architect Isabelle Berthet Bondet from the Architecture Nature agency.
Isabelle’s priority was to open the gîtes up onto the orchard and the surrounding field.
Large bay windows offer a wide view onto the surrounding natural environment.
The accommodation has been designed in order to ensure intimacy and privacy.
